Award Charter

Within the Barony March of Mons Tonitrus, there are those individuals who distinguish themselves with grace, courtesy and honor; and serve as examples for all to emulate. It was to recognize such individuals that in August Anno Societatis XXIV, at the founding of the Barony March of Mons Tonitrus, that Uchdred and Constance did establish the Order of the Guardians of the Saguaro.

I. There shall exist in the Barony March of Mons Tonitrus an award known as the Order of the Saguaro, which shall be given by the Baron and/or Baroness of Mons Tonitrus to those persons who consistently display exceptional courtesy and grace.

II. The holders of this award shall be styled Guardians of the Saguaro, and shall be entitled to place the initials GOS after their names.

III. The insignia of this order shall be: AN AIGUILLETTE, SABLE, ARGENT, VERT, AND OR.

IV. The Crown of Atenveldt shall be the Protector of this order.

V. The Baronial Coronet of Mons Tonitrus shall be the Principal of this Order.

VI. Baron Alwyn Stewart is confirmed as the Premier of this order, and is entitled to place the initials PGOS after his name.

VII. Amendments to this constitution shall be made by the Baron and/or Baroness of the Barony March of Mons Tonitrus, after due consultation of the Crown of Atenveldt.

VIII. Members of this order shall be listed in the Kingdom Order of Precedence after the Awards of Arms.
